The VAMonoMkII is a sophisticated virtual analog bitimbral synthesizer designed for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users. This versatile software boasts two 8-voice synthesizers, an array of effects, a sequencer, and audio visualization tools. It can operate as a standalone application or as an AudioUnit Extension (AUv3), with standalone support for Ableton Link, MIDI functionality, and audio file export.

The synthesizer's bitimbral architecture comprises two individual synthesizers, each equipped with dual oscillators, ADSR envelopes, resonant high-pass and low-pass filters, and amplifiers per voice. The oscillators provide continuously variable wave shapes alongside extensive modulation options. The filter models are based on the Transistor Ladder filter circuit and the Sallen-Key filter circuit, delivering a classic analog soundscape. Additional effects include delay, chorus, flanger, reverb, EQ, and compression. The built-in sequencer features a piano roll interface and parameter automation editor that allows users to program 16-bar patterns per clip. Project files are conveniently stored in iCloud Drive for easy access across iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.
